The Altis Indoor Cricket team celebrated season 3 by having a massive Indian feast on Friday in Glebe. The night started with some trivia, and was followed by a number of 'whacky' awards, more for embarassing gaffs than cricketing prowess. Having said that, a some of the team were recognised for their skill with the willow - Gerard was rlauded for being the best improver (being South African gave him a slight head start....), Glen was given the best bowler award with a bowling average of 2.78, Alok scored the most sixes and Ridhish went home with the best batsman award, averaging 24 runs per game.
It was a great night, with some awesome food and fantastic company.
Our dream for a Grand Final birth wasn’t to be at the end, but
we had some great fun along the way and many things that we can take
onto the next season.
Story by Ridhish.
