Altis now purchases 100% GreenPower. This basically means that for
every kWh of fossil fuel based electricity Altis consumes across all
its offices, the equivalent amount of GreenPower (renewable energy)
is purchased on our behalf and fed into the national electricity grid.
GreenPower energy is produced from renewable sources such as solar,
wind, mini-hydro and bio-mass.
By purchasing GreenPower, Altis is effectively helping to drive the demand for the creation of renewable energy infrastructure.
Our web site now proudly displays the “We buy 100% GreenPower” logo. The logo on our site has a link to the GreenPower web site if you are interested in learning more about how this program works: http://www.greenpower.gov.au/
